Little tick = First lap of Tianjin.

12 laps in total, that is.

Vincent and I decided that we’ll give ourselves the first year to feel the ground (and dust our hands after…) here in China before we make the decision on what comes next. Glad to know, 1/12 has been kind to us.

Railway stations = the leveller of the huge wealth and occupation disaprity.
I snapped this at the Tianjin Railway Station on our way to board the very, very comfortable ε’Œθ°ε· Tianjin-Beijing bullet train that links 170km in 30mins.It was an absolute pleasure to be on that train, until the whole embarrassment with the train safety problems took place on 23.07. Well, in terms of our own safety in the future, we figured, if it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be. We could die slipping in the shower as well, no?
But China faces, literally, a world of problems. I think as Singaporeans we really cannot phatom the issues of doughts and famines, corruption and socialism, opinion leaders and other opinion leaders.
I have a pic about the fascinating extent of their military, but it’s in my other computer. *damn*
But promise I’ll put it up another time. It will raise eyebrows, for the extent of eyelash curlers used…
Anyway, very quickly before I hop into bed – I’m heading back to Singapore tomorrow!
Can’t wait to see my two little ones who’ve apparently been fattened up by my mum’s constant feeding. Just like the way I was brought up!
Toughen up girl!
OK ciao for now little TJ, a population of *choke* 11 million… :p
