Isn’t this just too cute to eat? I couldn’t bear to sink my teeth into this little piggy, so I nibbled on his ear, his twisted tail, and his nose until he looks more like a decent pao, then I gobbled him down.
This is one of the fanciest canteen food I’ve had, thanks for a bunch of my colleagues complaining that the previous caterer was doing disservice to their tummies. So an overhaul was such a welcoming change, especially when you have food too pretty to eat!

Thankfully in North China, yoghurt’s a staple, so he’s become so attached to the yoghurt sections here (because they’re TWO aisles long). But bread and nice lettuce are definitely a challenge to find. Forget about romaine vs spinach etc, it’s chinese cabbage or wawa cai. Take it or leave it, even Carrefour says… π¦
So for a rabbit like me, it’s down to capsicums and tomatoes. Not too bad!
Just no more sexy papayas in the mornings…
