The hand emerges from the smog.

I haven’t written since early June. And I cannot believe the 4 months just went by like that. I don’t even know if I just came out of a storm or a nightmare.

Either way, I’m still alive, and well – coughing. The respiratory problems seem to occur with every seasonal change, and despite our Ayi’s efforts to keep our place spic and span – the dust comes out of nowhere and finds its way into my aerioles.

And in case you interested, here’s a very short pictorial update of the months that just passed:

June 2012:

June is when we’re leaping for joy at the prospect of finally being able to peel off that last layer of clothing over the arms. And those blue skies – no photoshopped. Yes for those giving a queer eye – these nice days do occur in China.
Boy, little did we know then that were we in for a looong summer.

July 2012 in Singapore’s World Cities Summit:

July 2012 – Our Eco-City booth warmly welcomed a very busy person – PM Lee himself. My humble iPhone only manages to capture the silver head.

July 2012 on Eastern Time!

Summer Hol 2012 – The Nicoliers finally break into the US. Nothin’ more to say except…. Boston – godammit, you’re just so easy to love! *boohoo*

August 2012 in Qingdao having lots of… Qingdao

August 2012 – Corporate Retreat in Qingdao. For once its debatable if there are more humans than fish in the ocean.
But at least you know you can certainly pee in there and nobody would know…

July/Aug/Sep 2012 – My Favourite Girl of the Season

Image
Full swing with our ‘Little Girl with the Windturbine’ campaign. Tianjin consumers enjoyed some fanfare with our roadshows and advertising. Now to track track track effectiveness.

September 2012 – Did it happen at all?

Image
Sep 2012 – I don’t even know if I slept in September. One thing for sure – Sep 20 sure is a day to remember, workwise. Long story short – Pre-exhibition nightmare, with well, a decent ending.
Image
Sep 2012 – Referring to the Expo that kept me up all September, a decent coverage on China Daily the very next day of our Opening. For the sheer amount of panic the night before, it sure-as-hell meant a great deal to those behind the scenes.
Image
And of course – 18 September when the Chinese decided to remind their Japanese retailer, Isetan as who who’s contributing to their GDP back home. All for a large outcrop of rock. Well, that’s the way the world swings today..

And voila – we’re into October!

I promise, more updates soon. 🙂
